A few forewords
The Domaine de Leyre-Loup was created in 1993 by Jacques Lanson and its son, making the passion of wine and wine-making passion meet. It has expanded on favourable "terroirs" in the Morgon and Fleurie appellations, well-known crus of the Beaujolais, to cover 23 acres of land as of today.
Great wines deserve not only time and know-how, but also care for nature and respect of tradition. It is the combination of time, of our experience as wine makers of the property and of course of the gift of nature that gives our wines their character and savour and that make every year different with its promises and surprises, whether good or bad.
Since the very first vintage, the Domaine de Leyre-Loup has slowly grown into a prosperous family vienyard and, fore and foremost, everybody has contributed to make the Morgons and Fleuries of the Domaine a sheer pleasure for the palate.
